Maple Ridge is home to some of the Lower Mainland’s most fertile soil and longest growing seasons. This translates into some of the best local, organic produce in all of Metro Vancouver. Historic and Heritage Sites

The walk passes by some of the oldest buildings in Maple Ridge, such as Maple Ridge’s original post office, the iconic Haney House, and St. Andrews Heritage Church Hall, which is the first church in Maple Ridge.

Another must see historic point of interest for the area is the museum. The Maple Ridge Museum showcases the region`s early years with a main focus on the railway. The museum houses a railway diorama that shows the early routes of the CPR. In addition to the diorama, the museum is also home to a fully restored CPR caboose.
